As part of this investment, we are building a brand new Digital and Technology team to design and manage the council’s systems, and we’re giving them the opportunity to let their creativity loose across the council, helping services redesign their activities to better use and engage with technology.

Would you like to use your proven management skills to build and manage a brand new team? We’ll give you the freedom to develop new working practices and policies to make sure the team succeeds, and we’ll invest in staff development and training to boost careers and help us deliver amazing results for our services and customers.

Service Delivery Manager

Salary up to £48,540
Would you like to help shape and manage the program of digital change across the council? We want you to helm our service redesign initiatives and manage our program of digital works, building your own project teams to deliver on various activities across the council. You can really make this role your own and be a director of change for the whole council.

Infrastructure Engineer

Salary up to £40,760
We’re investing generously in our infrastructure, that’s why we need a capable and adaptable infrastructure engineer to help us design and implement new technology. You’ll be working with colleagues to shape the underlying technical skeleton of the council. We want to give you the freedom to expand your skillset and develop new ways of working, and with all the investment, there will always be something new to get stuck into.

Service Delivery Engineer

Salary up to £35,934
This is a great opportunity for you to flex your creative muscles and develop new skills at the same time. You’ll be working on projects, helping services design solutions around effective use of technology, you’ll be configuring and maintaining business systems with the freedom to develop new approaches and experiment with new techniques, and you’ll be helping develop interfaces and manage data usage across the council. With all that, there’s absolutely no chance you’ll get bored!

We’d like you to take control of our digital content and website management and help us improve the digital offering to our customers. We’ll encourage your creativity and you’ll work with services across the council to create a modern, effective web presence.

Service Support Technician x2

If you’re customer focused and like taking on a range of challenges, then this is the role for you. You’ll be assisting our colleagues across the council to ensure that everything runs smoothly, working with departments to test and deploy new solutions, and taking on the wide range of issues that come in through the helpdesk. You’ll always have the next challenge to sink your teeth into in this role.
